Mother's arm was broken and glued before and her fingers were missing on the same arm.

I took the old restoration apart and cleaned it off to get a better fit on the arm once glued back. This way the restored area will be as small as possible. In-painting/matching the original color with Lladros is a bit tricky but I'm happy where I got. Finishing also has to be very glossy and it has to blend in smoothly. I think it looks great!

ReplyDeleteThis is my wife's Lladro. It had a very special meaning to her since it was given to her by her mother who passed away many years ago. My wife never thought that we could get it repaired correctly. An antique dealer friend recommended Anne. After speaking with her on the phone, I felt very comfortable sending her my wife's precious Lladro. What Anne did with the broken arm and missing fingers is incredible. The piece looks better than ever. To see the joy on my wife's face when I showed her the repaired piece was priceless. I will use Anne again and highly recommend her work.
